CALLE HENZEL SHOWS HIS NEW COLLECTION IN NEW YORK

Calle Henzel Studio has been invited by the Designlush
Showroom in New York Design Center to be involved in their
SS09 exhibition, where Henzel will be showcasing rugs from
the new Second Session collection. The collection can be
viewed Monday through Friday at the NYDC showroom during
regular business hours (Saturdays by appointment).
This collection is about making eccentric combinations and
maintaining authenticity. Inspired by the pre-twentieth-century
use of collage-likeapplication techniques, paintings by Calle
Henzel and The Independent Group. Expect rich painterly
effects, intense colorthat never is flat and a soft luxurious
feel. The subtle irregularities found in each carpet enchance
their unique design

The NYDC is an essential resource to designers and
architects. Located in midtown Manhattan at 200 Lexington
Avenue, the New York Design Center (NYDC) is the country's
oldest furniture and design building. The variety of residential
and contract showrooms, diversity of product lines, and on-
going support of design trade associations make it an invaluable
